Prof. Dr. Samreen Ahmad is a highly experienced pediatrician in Peshawar with extensive expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illnesses affecting infants, children, and adolescents. She graduated from Khyber Medical College in 1996 and completed her internship in 1997 before pursuing postgraduate specialization in Pediatrics through the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). Over the course of her career, she has established herself as one of the region’s respected child health specialists through her dedication to clinical care, medical education, and professional excellence.

Before joining Peshawar General Hospital (PGH) as a Professor and Consultant Pediatrician, Prof. Dr. Samreen Ahmad served as a Consultant Pediatrician at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) for 16 years, where she managed a wide spectrum of pediatric conditions and contributed significantly to child healthcare services. Her commitment to postgraduate medical education was recognized by CPSP in 2007 when she was appointed as a supervisor for postgraduate pediatric trainees.
